Camping for children, youth and adults has been a very significant
and powerful aspect of the ministry in our District of churches. Over
the years hundreds of children and youth have found faith in Jesus,
felt calls to ministry and been deeply enriched through their camping
experience. Therefore for us, camping is an important tool about which
we care deeply.
We are fortunate to have excellent leadership to facilitate our shared ministry
in camping. Under the leadership of Dusty Johnson, in partnership with the
Cascade, Columbia and Mt. Hood districts, and using different leaders and
workers from within our Foursquare districts of churches, ALL 4 ONE ministries
provides summer camping for the children and youth of churches of the Willamette
District.
In addition, Crestview Conference Center, which is the main facility for
our summer camping program, is also available for off season rental (September –May). |
