Ministry to children is an important priority for the Willamette District. Our goal is to help Children’s Ministry leaders in our district be encouraged, equipped and resourced in their ministry to kids. We envision this happening through personal connections as we get to know one another share thoughts, information and ideas.

To begin to accomplish this goal we are planning these activities and events:

Development of a Children’s Ministries Team
We have formed a Children’s Ministries leadership team that will help care for and resource children’s ministers in our district. These leaders will participate in the various connections that occur in our district, and will also help identify and support emerging new leaders.

Children’s Ministries Leadership “Connections”
We are planning a Children’s Ministries “Connection” time at Camp Crestview on January 31-February 2, 2008. Networking together as leaders will help us get connected, be encouraged, supported, educated and equipped as we develop as leaders in the call to ministry to children.
